About myself

I am a qualified interpreter, translator, economist and tour guide.  I am highly proficient in both spoken and written English, German and Italian, besides my native Hungarian and I also speak French at an intermediate level.  For almost 20 years I worked in different multinational companies mostly related to Financial and FMCG sectors. Thanks to them, I have had several opportunities to practice languages on a daily basis and have always been surrounded by foreign colleagues.  Another great advantage of working for such big companies was that I had the opportunity to live and work in England, Germany and last time in Italy where I spent 7 years as an expatriate.

Now I dedicate 100% of my time to the languages, keeping private lessons, doing translation and interpreting, and also offering guided tours both in English and Italian. To my greatest pleasure lately I have had more and more foreign students who show an interest in our beautiful and definitely not easy language: Hungarian.

​

Due to my long professional background in different sectors (Financial, FMCG, Media and Tourism) besides general English and Italian I can offer my teaching, interpreting and translation services in several fields where special terminology is needed:  Economics, Finance, Marketing, Communication and Tourism.

​

The private lessons are held in the 11th district in Budapest and also on Skype. I do my best to understand what my students strengths are and also those little weaknesses that require further improvement. I consider myself an extremely positive person and a passionate language educator who tries to find the  best method to motivate and encourage my students.

 

I am also providing interpretation services during business meetings, dinners, company events and any other occasions with groups of between  to 4-5 people. This service is also available online, where you just need your laptop or smart phone to get me  involved.

Being a translator specialising in Social Science and Economics, I do offer translation services on corporate newsletters, leaflets, etc.

​

For those who would like to discover Budapest and the neighbouring cities, I am making personalised tours. If the group is up to max 4 people I can offer my car within the service, so that you don’t need to get worry about travelling between locations. Should you be a businessman and have limited time to spend in Budapest, or should you be a group of friends staying in Hungary, we can tailor make a programme suitable to your needs and requirements.
